Job Title: Production Line Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the production of personal care products and ensuring conformity with health and safety requirements.
- Support in selecting the appropriate production processes by deciding on machines, materials, and handling systems.
- Assist in ensuring proper maintenance and replacement of machines and equipment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of manufacturing strategies and processes to meet business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to good manufacturing practices and other manufacturing standards.
- Supervise the work of junior staff and organise relevant training sessions.
- Assign personnel to tasks according to production schedules and resource requirements.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all manufacturing activities within the factory.
- Identify quality risks and issues within the manufacturing processes and provide solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of product quality and take necessary steps to reduce production costs.
- Assist in inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels.
Requirements
- B.Sc. / HND in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry from a reputable institution.
- Post postgraduate degree is an added advantage
- Experience working with NAFDAC will be an added advantage.
- Excellent working knowledge of safety and environmental practices and regulations.
- Degree in engineering, chemistry, manufacturing, business or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in production process in the FMCG industry (Personal Care).
