The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigeria nationals for the position below at the Institute’s headquarters in Ibadan.
Position: Production Assistant
Duration: 6 months’ renewable
Location: Ibadan
Closing Date: 23 December 2024
DUTIES:
- Collaborate with presenters and producers to plan engaging radio programs and segments
- Record and edit audio content to meet broadcast standards
- Coordinate with the programming team to ensure timely and seamless delivery of shows
- Operate and maintain audio equipment, ensuring top-notch sound quality
- Develop innovative ideas for shows, commercials, and station branding elements
- Schedule and guide guest appearances, interviews, and live performances
- Ensure all content aligns with regulatory and organizational policies
- Evaluate the quality and audience reception of produced programs
- Assist in training staff on production tools and techniques as needed
- Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
QUALIFICATION:
BSc/HND in Mass communication or any other related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.
COMPETENCIES:
The ideal candidate must:
- Have good editing skills
- Have good news and programming skills and must be good at content generation
- Have equipment handling and studio maintenance abilities
