We’re seeking an experienced Procurement Officer for our logistics and supply chain team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in freight forwarding, inventory management, and procurement processes. Key responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating, and managing procurement of goods and services, while optimizing costs and maintaining quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
- Oversee procurement activities and ensure compliance
- Coordinate with logistics for freight forwarding
- Manage inventory and optimize stock levels
- Implement cost-saving strategies
- Conduct market research and prepare performance reports
Salary: 120k
Ideal Profile
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- At least 3 years proven experience in procurement, freight forwarding, and inventory management within the logistics or supply chain
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in using procurement software and inventory management systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
