Job Scope:

The Procurement Officer at Felton Energy Services Limited is responsible for developing and implementing processes related to procurement and sourcing activities. They will work closely with the Procurement Lead to ensure efficient progress reports and successful execution of procurement strategies.

Reports To:

Procurement Lead

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement fruitful sourcing strategies to meet company objectives.

2. Identify and establish partnerships with profitable suppliers.

3. Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms and finalize purchase details.

4. Examine and test existing contracts to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

5. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve procurement effectiveness.

6. Collaborate with key stakeholders to clarify specifications and expectations.

7. Build and maintain a client database for procurement purposes.

8. Perform data analysis to anticipate alterations in negotiating ability and prepare control strategies.

9. Conduct risk management for supply contracts and agreements.

10. Control procurement spend and foster a culture of long-term cost savings.

11. Follow up on procurement enquiries and leads to ensure successful outcomes.

12. Prepare and submit tender and proposal packages.

13. Complete all other tasks as assigned by the Procurement Lead.

Salary: N150,000
