Job Brief
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate PR & Social Media Executive to join our team. In this role, you will drive the development and execution of public relations and social media strategies for our clients and the agency.
You will be responsible for enhancing client visibility, managing social media accounts, and creating compelling content. If you have a strong background in PR and social media, with a knack for creative communication, we’d love to hear from you.
Duties & Responsibilities

- Public Relations & Media Outreach:-
- Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance client visibility
- Write and distribute press releases, manage media relations, and secure media coverage.

- Social Media Management:-
- Oversee social media accounts management for the agency and clients, creating engaging content and driving audience growth
- Sets measurable goals to increase Carlstic and clients’ social media presence on channels such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.
- Analyze social media performance and optimize campaigns for better results.

- Creative Content Development:-
- Work with the creative team to produce multimedia content aligned with clients’ branding and communication goals.
- Create and curate content for social media, blogs, marketing materials, and websites for the agency and clients.

- Campaign Strategy & Execution:-
- Plan and execute PR and social media campaigns, adjusting strategies based on performance metrics.
- Support the creation of marketing plans to guide brand awareness and social media output.
- Client Relations: Serve as the main contact for clients, providing strategic insights and regular updates on PR and social media activities.
- Crisis Management & Reputation Monitoring: Monitor media and social media for potential PR crises and develop response strategies to protect client reputation.
Event Support: Assist in the planning and management of PR Events as required.
Experience & Skills Required
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications or similar field
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Communications Specialist, PR Strategist, Social Media Executive, Brand Manager or similar role
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing communications agency, particularly in PR and Digital.
- Proven success in developing and executing PR and social media strategies.
- Strong solution-driven decision-making skills that inspire confidence and trust among team members.
- Strong communication, writing, and content creation skills.
- Desire to continually evolve your personal understanding of marketing communications
- Must be available to work on-site in Thika.
