We are looking for a passionate and skilled Personal Trainers to join our team at BE ACTIVE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering personalized fitness programs tailored to individual client needs and goals, conducting comprehensive fitness assessments, motivating, supporting and educating clients. This role is crucial in helping our clients achieve their health and fitness goals through tailored training strategies and collaborative efforts with other BE Active team members (nutritionists, wellness coaches) to provide holistic wellness support to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments: including health history, body composition analysis, and movement patterns.
- Designing Tailored Workout Programs: Develop and implement individualized training plans based on clients’ needs, preferences, and health goals (weight loss, strength training, injury rehabilitation, etc.).
- Client Education: Educate clients on training principles, exercise technique guidelines, safety protocols and healthy lifestyle habits through one-on-one consultations and group workshops.
- Monitoring and Support: Track clients’ progress, provide ongoing support and motivation, and make necessary adjustments to their training plans fostering a sense of accountability and progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with nutritionists, medical professionals, and other staff to create a holistic approach to health and wellness.
- Research and Development: Stay up to date with the latest exercise and sports science, trends, and best practices to ensure clients receive the most accurate and effective advice.
- Community Outreach: Participate in community health programs, seminars, and events to promote BE ACTIVE’s mission and services.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, document workouts and training plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in sports science, sports and recreation a management or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from an accredited organization (NASM, ACE, ACSM, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar role working with a diverse clientele in a corporate setting (preferred).
- Strong understanding of exercise science, anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients of varying fitness levels and backgrounds.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients towards achieving their health goals.
- Proficiency in using physical assessment tools and software
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in conducting workshops or educational seminars is an advantage.
