Parts Warehouse Assistant

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations: 

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Organize parts for easy retrieval and supply them to workshops, retail counters, and  branches as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to safety  protocols.

2. Inventory Management: 

  • Perform regular stock audits and ensure physical and system inventory matches.
  • Use the warehouse management system to verify stock levels and order accuracy.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or stock losses to your immediate supervisor promptly.

3. Order Fulfillment: 

  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and ensure correct labelling.

4. Customer Support: 

  • Ensure timely delivery of parts to dispatch points to minimize customer waiting time.
  • Address issues related to parts returns and assist in the return process while adhering to  SOPs

5. Safety & Compliance: 

  • Follow safety protocols and warehouse best practices.
  • Report safety hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

6. Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Required Qualifications and Experience

1. PERSON SPECIFICATIONS: 

  • Diploma or Degree in Social Science, Automotive Engineering, or any related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to lift heavy items.
  • roficient in warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Knowledge of auto parts is a plus.

2. Skills 

  • Good record keeping skills and attention to detail.
  • Good administration and supervisory skills
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with records management software applications
