Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operator of a 2-ton Horizontal H.F.O.-fired Steam Boiler to join our team. The Steam Boiler Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our steam boiler system by ensuring optimal and uninterrupted steam supply for our manufacturing processes while adhering to safety regulations and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Operate and maintain the 2-ton horizontal H.F.O. fired steam boiler and associated equipment.
– Monitor boiler performance and report any anomalies to the maintenance team promptly.
– Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
– Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, including fuel consumption, steam output, and maintenance activities.
– Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
– Collaborate with the production team to ensure steam availability as per operational requirements.
– Perform troubleshooting and repairs as necessary.
Qualifications:
- A diploma or equivalent, vocational or technical school training is preferred.
- Previous experience operating H.F.O. fired steam boilers, preferred in a manufacturing environment.
- Relevant certifications in boiler operation and safety (e.g., Boiler Operator License).
- Strong understanding of steam boiler systems, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
