We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to take the lead in our field operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our services are delivered with excellence, overseeing everything from fleet management to task prioritization. Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Management: Oversee and manage the deployment, maintenance, and scheduling of the company’s fleet to ensure timely operations.
- Task Prioritization: Strategically prioritize and delegate tasks to field teams, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Lead Management: Take charge of managing the lead pipeline by prioritizing and strategizing which opportunities to pursue. You’ll decide how to allocate resources, manage the pipeline, and identify key areas for expansion to maximize growth and efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and manage field engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Field Operations Oversight: Ensure smooth daily operations, handle any challenges that arise, and maintain high service standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between field teams, headquarters, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Compliance: Ensure all field operations adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Must be physically present at our headquarters in Chuka and have the ability to travel on short notice as required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) and ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and crisis management skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirables:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in the ISP industry.
- Basic understanding of technical aspects of ISP services, with knowledge of FTTH.
- A valid driving license.
- Familiarity with the Chuka region and surrounding areas.
