Job Description

  • Triumph Power and Gas (TPG) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Engineering Operations Interns to join our Operations team for 12months.
  • The Operations Delivery Intern will assist in delivering high-quality operations services, with a focus on workshop activities management and tools inventory management.
  • The position holder will support the operations team in executing daily activities, streamlining processes and ensuring efficient delivery of services or products.
  • This role offers hands-on experience in operational management, logistics and project coordination within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Assistant Operations Delivery Manager in managing and maintaining tools, ensuring their readiness and optimal performance for field activities.
  • Conduct regular health checks on equipment and tools to prevent downtime and ensure reliability.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of operational tasks and support the monitoring of workflows to ensure timely delivery of projects and services.
  • Collect, analyze and maintain data related to equipment and tools inventory and delivery performance, and generate reports to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) such as equipment manifest, etc.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards during all service operations.
  • Support to prepare all project management documents and report on tools and equipment performance for continuous improvement.
  • Support project monitoring and reporting.
  • Support with equipment, tools and personnel logistics across all work fields and base.
  • Support with daily and routine base operations in Port Harcourt.

Requirements

  • Minimum HND or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or other relevant tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Experience:

  • Experience in a field service, project or similar role will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills & Competence Requirements:

  • Project Management, Equipment and Tools Inventory Management and Maintenance Management.
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
