JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations & Compliance Officer is responsible for managing and supervising the daily technical operations of NLS Waste Services Ltd, ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements, legislation, and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
- Knowledge of operations management and organizational effectiveness
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Understanding of waste management health, safety, and environment principles
- Ability to lead and manage teams
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer health, safety, and environment policies and procedures
- Coordinate staff training and development
- Plan and direct waste operations, maintenance, and site services
- Ensure adherence to regulations and legislation
- Manage license renewals and environmental audits
- Coordinate staff training and development
- Participate in budget development and insurance policy administration
- Oversee private contractors and perform other duties as assigned
