OPERATIONS AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER

JOB SUMMARY:

The Operations & Compliance Officer is responsible for managing and supervising the daily technical operations of NLS Waste Services Ltd, ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements, legislation, and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
  • Knowledge of operations management and organizational effectiveness
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Understanding of waste management health, safety, and environment principles
  • Ability to lead and manage teams

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer health, safety, and environment policies and procedures
  • Coordinate staff training and development
  • Plan and direct waste operations, maintenance, and site services
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and legislation
  • Manage license renewals and environmental audits
  • Coordinate staff training and development
  • Participate in budget development and insurance policy administration
  • Oversee private contractors and perform other duties as assigned
