The Nurse provides healthcare support to patients. This role involves conducting patient assessments, delivering medical guidance, triaging symptoms, and educating patients on health management. The Nurse collaborates with a remote healthcare team to offer safe, effective, and accessible care, ensuring patients receive timely assistance and resources.

  • Triaging clients according to their needs and level of urgency.
  • Handling all nursing procedures competently.
  • Accurate documentation and storage of patient data
  • Counselling and health education to patients
  • Taking, monitoring and interpreting vital signs of clients
  • Performing point of care diagnostic testing and interpreting results.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient assessments, treatment and progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other healthcare team members to develop comprehensive plans for patients.
  • Adhere to all medical protocols, regulations and ethical standards in the nursing profession.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license from the relevant nursing council of Kenya
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Minimum of 4 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in primary care, emergency care, or outpatient settings
