Overall Responsibilities

Pearl Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. This role includes delivering both direct patient care and assisting with clinical duties, ensuring comprehensive support for our medical team and patients.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and patient history reviews.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including care plans, progress notes, and medication logs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs, conditions, and preferences.
  • Safely administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
    Work closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and ethical standards.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Nursing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, critical thinking, empathy, and attention to detail.
  • Current Registered Nurse with the Nursing Board of Kenya
