CSBAG is a coalition formed in 2004 to bring together CSOs at national and district levels to influence government decisions on resource mobilization and utilization for equitable and sustainable development. CSBAG was created out of a desire to collectively influence government and effectively participate in setting national budget priorities.
CSBAG seeks to recruit.
- Non-Resident Graphics Designers to support our communication efforts by designing high-quality visual content for publications, social media, reports, infographics, and other advocacy materials. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a passion for transforming complex information into visually appealing content
- Seasonal, detail-oriented and experienced Proof Readers (Non-Resident) to support our communication efforts by reviewing and refining reports, policy briefs, articles, and other advocacy materials. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing and editing skills, a strong grasp of grammar and style, and experience in policy and development communication.
- NON-RESIDENT GRAPHICS DESIGNER
- Minimum Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous design work in advocacy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Experience working with NGOs or advocacy organizations is an added advantage.
- a) Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality graphics for reports, policy briefs, social media, and other advocacy materials.
- Develop visually engaging infographics, banners, posters, and digital content.
- Ensure consistency in branding and design across all CSBAG materials.
- Collaborate with the communications team to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns.
- Edit and refine visual content to align with CSBAG’s objectives and target audiences.
- Provide design support for event materials, presentations, and promotional content.
- b) Contract
- The contract is one year with possibility of extension according to candidate’s performance
- NON-RESIDENT PROOF READER
- a) Minimum Requirements
- A degree in Journalism, Communications, social sciences, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in editing policy, advocacy, or development-related content.
- Excellent command of English, with strong attention to detail and grammar.
- Familiarity with public finance, governance, and policy advocacy is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and document formatting.
- b) Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread reports, policy briefs, articles, and other CSBAG publications for clarity, accuracy, and coherence.
- Ensure all written materials adhere to CSBAG’s editorial standards and branding guidelines.
- Refine complex policy and budget-related content into clear, reader-friendly language.
- Work closely with the communications team to enhance the quality of advocacy materials.
- Fact-check and verify information to maintain the credibility of published materials.
- Provide guidance on improving writing quality and document structuring.
c) Contract
o The contract is one year with possibility of extension according to candidate’s performance
