The Government of Uganda (GoU) with support from the United Kingdom – Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is implementing the Clean Cooking Support and Scale Programme. As part of the programme, and through the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). GoU is establishing a Clean Cooking Unit (CCU) at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD).
The CCU will lead the national clean cooking agenda, ensuring effective sector coordination, strengthened private sector participation, and mobilization of additional financing and investment to scale up Uganda’s clean cooking efforts.
In view of the above, applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the under-listed positions within the CCU:
- Unit Coordinator (1 Position)
- Senior Officer – Supply & Demand Side Management (1 Position)
- Clean Cooking Officer – Capacity & Knowledge Management (1 Position)
- Clean Cooking Officer – Carbon and Green Finance (1 Position)
