Job Title: Metal detector Machine Operator

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (Renewable at the Management Discretion)
Job Overview: To ensure products safety is maintained and product contamination with metallic foreign bodies is minimized through metal detection, in line with the HACCP system.
Key Responsibilities:
- To perform metal detector duties with keen attention to procedures and due diligence to products.
- To ensure that all machines and equipment’s are in good working condition, accurate and precise, and, in keeping with laid down procedures, report any machine or equipment malfunctions.
- Conduct machine integrity checks for the metal detector
- Conduct hygiene checks for the machine
- To ensure that all products have been passed through the metal detector successfully
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in electrical and electronics, any technical course on machines operation in a processing or manufacturing set up
- At least 1 year experience in machine operation in a manufacturing set up
Other desired Qualification
- On-job training on machine operations and safety procedures
- Valid food handlers certificate renewable at expiry
