Nawiri is an eight year USAID-Resilience Food Security Activity (RFSA) funded program implemented by a consortium of international and national partners led by Mercy Corps. The goal of the program is to reduce persistent acute malnutrition in the two counties of Turkana and Samburu in northern Kenya. BOMA, one of the consortium partner is overseeing implementation of poverty graduation for Nutrition (REAP for Nutrition) in both counties.
Under the supervision of Field Officer directly and indirectly by Program Coordinator, the mentor recruited under USAID Nawiri will be responsible for implementation of REAP for Nutrition activities at the targeted mentor location that are designed to graduate ultra poor and nutritional vulnerable households graduate out of poverty and under nutrition.
