Role Description
The Medical Sales Representative will promote Ikigai Health Kenya’s products and services to hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. They will identify, develop, and manage business relationships to drive sales growth while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical sales, a results-driven mindset, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed set sales targets.
- Identify potential clients and build relationships with hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches, proposals, and presentations.
- Provide detailed product information and demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure consistent follow-ups with customers to encourage repeat business and satisfaction.
- Handle client inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring resolution and customer retention.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in medical equipment and supplies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
Educational Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Management, Medical Sciences, or a related field.
– 1-2 years of experience in medical sales, pharmaceutical sales, or healthcare industry sales.
– Preference for 3+ years of experience in the Mt. Kenya region.
– Experience in selling medical equipment and consumables is a plus.

– Excellent interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
– Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
– Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Work Structure
- Field visits to clients’ sites at least four days a week.

- Reports to the in-charge Medical Rep, Nairobi
