The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigeria nationals for the position below at the Institute’s headquarters in Ibadan.
Position: Media Assistant (2 Positions)
Duration: 6 months’ renewable
Location: Ibadan
Closing Date: 23 December 2024
DUTIES:
- Conduct interviews for Institutional and official functions
- Assist with content generation for Tiktok videos.
- Generate and write stories for the institutional newsletters (bulletin and Talking Drums)
- Provide intranet content for the web team.
- Curate posts for the IITA TV social media platforms
- Provide communication backstopping for exhibitions, events and institutional activities.
- Generate content and produce the AgNovation series for IITA TV
- Provide support for visitors and guests
- Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
QUALIFICATION:
BSc/HND in Mass communication, Marketing, Communication and Language Arts or any other related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.
COMPETENCIES:
The ideal candidate must:
- Have good communication skills (writing, reading, and speaking)
- Have excellent reporting skills
- Have ability to coordinate, prioritize and organize workload
