Kent Africa is a multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery firm operating across infrastructure, energy, and industrial sectors. We are looking for a qualified Mechanical Engineering Draughtsman to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software
- Work closely with engineers to translate concepts into technical drawings
- Ensure drawings meet industry and internal standards
- Support production and fabrication teams with clear documentation
- Maintain and update drawing records as needed
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
- 2-4 years of experience in mechanical drafting or CAD design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent software
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and fabrication processes
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
Added Advantage
- Experience in HVAC, piping, or industrial system design
- Familiarity with ISO or ASME drafting standards
- Understanding of project workflows in engineering environments
- Previous work experience in the oil and gas industry
