Mother Amadea Mission Hospital, a Level 4 healthcare facility in Mombasa, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Officer to enhance our visibility, engage with the community, and promote our healthcare services. This role requires a creative, strategic thinker who is passionate about healthcare and adept at developing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote the hospital’s services across multiple platforms.
- Create and manage digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and website content, to build a strong online presence.
- Organize community outreach programs and health events to increase awareness of the hospital’s services and mission.
- Collaborate with various departments to produce educational materials, brochures, newsletters, and other promotional content.
- Monitor and analyse marketing trends, patient feedback, and competitor activities to adjust strategies and improve engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and media contacts to expand the hospital’s outreach and community partnerships.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights to guide future initiatives.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and image across all communication channels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients, staff, and community stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with graphic design software and website management tools is a plus
