Description

 

  1. To Develop and execute a customer centric Marketing Strategy that helps to position Uganda Baati as the leading Building Solutions company in Uganda. line with This strategy will conforming to the Group Marketing guidelines, while still being relevant to Uganda.
  2. To develop and grow the marketing organisation development: Nurturing a well-rounded marketing organisation with excellent brand and commercial skills.
  3. To Manage the Product Management process for the Business Unit in terms of Launches, Market Communication, Positioning and Pricing Strategy, maximizing product contribution and ensuring the required product penetration in the defined market segments
  4. To coordinate and execute all Brand Building  programsa, and also measuring effectiveness of the same across the different segments. (Cosnumers, Dealers/Distributors, Professionals and Artisans (Installers/fundis).
  5. To build a  stronger Customer Connect through direct marketing, digital or online marketing programs and brand experience touch-points like Retail Showrooms & Service Centres.
  6. To drive the Retail Showrooms concept in Uganda and roll-out it across various locations.
  7. To oversee the long term product development plans, conduct timely review and ensure execution as per plans in coordination with other functional teams
  8. To provide marketing support for all below the line sales programs like trade schemes, consumer promotions, Outlet visibility, market conversion programs, Trade exhibitions, industry meets and technical seminars
  9. Driving a culture of deep Customer, Influencer and Channel understanding through regular research and in-touch programs leading to development of relevant strategies and product innovation.
  10. To improve the Business Unit’s Gross Contribution per Metric Tonne by market segment / product by up-grading and launching high-end differentiated product offerings.
  11. To develop and Launch Solutions through combination of product and service offerings and creating strong value propositions to the market.
  12. Develop pricing strategy for various brands based on market positioning
  13. Any other assignment by management as may be required in the interest of the company.
    1. Budgetary responsibility:

Manage the market budget appropriately to ensure an optimal ROI is achieved
