OVERVIEW
Utabibu Sacco is a member owned Non-Withdrawable Deposit Taking SACCO licensed and
regulated by the SACCO Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA), incorporated on 4th October
1974 under Cooperatives Societies Act cap 490 of the Laws of Kenya, by employees of Aga Khan
University Hospital Nairobi with the main objective of mobilizing resources and providing
members with affordable credit facilities.
Utabibu Sacco is a dynamic and growth-oriented organization committed to building a team that
is result oriented to realize our strategic plan.
We are seeking to onboard suitable, qualified and interested individuals seeking to acquire skills
and experience in the marketing docket.

Travel Required – When advised or necessary
Terms – 6 months contract
Work Pattern/Hours – As per the Sacco’s HR Policy. Full time
RESPONSIBILITIES
The individuals will be responsible for conducting research, develop marketing strategies, market
intelligence & monitoring and report market development and activities in areas of product pricing,
distribution and promotions.
This role is also responsible for supporting business development in member recruitment, deposit
mobilization and loans in line with the Sacco’s strategic goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES/ TASKS
1. Planning & overseeing new market initiatives & ensure marketing campaigns are executed within budget limits,
2. Recruitment of new Sacco members
3. To provide feedback to the SACCO on members’ issues and expectations
4. Reactivation of Dormant accounts
5. Market and sell all Sacco products and services to all Sacco members, customers and prospects.
6. Formulate and implement marketing plans including relevant customer acquisition and develop programs.
7. Achieving set targets for alternative banking channels
8. Providing information for decision making through properly prepared and timely reports.
9. Take responsibility for specific market campaigns within regions
10. Organizing and hosting presentations and customer visits
11. Attend relevant trade exhibitions and meeting to recruit
12. Keeping track of members/customers with outstanding Sacco Loans
13. Prepare and submit monthly reports
14. Carryout regular market research, competitor and customer surveys.
15. Identify market and develop ways of entry into the markets.
16. Support events planning and management for all Sacco activities, e.g. Member Education, AGM, Ushirika Day, etc.
17. Research on new products and services
18. Update and manage social media pages and online interactions
19. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Operations

QUALIFICATIONS
1. A Degree in Marketing, Economics, Commerce, Business Management or Business related
2. Marketing preferred
