Job Title: Manager – MoMo Pay Informal

Reporting to: Senior Manager – MoMo Pay

Division – Commercial Operations

 

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job 

Deliver the overall management of the digital Retail payments ecosystem for the Informal segment.

Responsibilities

Main Job Functions:

  • Manage the MoMo payments roadmap for informal segment.
  • Manage relationships with internal partners and third parties to scale the Informal Merchants growth opportunity.
  • Manage the end-to-end design of the informal Merchants value propositions to ensure alignment to target customer expectations.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective campaigns and promotions to drive business growth objectives.
  • Deliver effective key processes (e.g. onboarding, Liquidation etc.) to scale informal merchant base per set targets and SLA agreements.
  • Liaise with Customer interfacing teams to resolve Informal Merchant complaints and put in place a framework for continuous improvement of the Informal Merchant proposition.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to monitor performance of existing products; cost effectiveness to drive healthy contributory margins & pricing to ensure product/ service uptake and profitability. Utilise data driven approach to deliver product, sector and insights and short to medium term plans.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Proficient with MS Office application especially Excel and Power Point
  • Relevant Certifications

Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Customer experience or related business function
  • Prior experience in the Payment system organisation will be an added advantage.
