Role:
Oversees cybersecurity operations, including team leadership, incident response, policy development, risk management and security operations
Key Result Areas:
- Developing and implementing cybersecurity plans aligned with organizational goals and risk tolerance.
- Building and leading a cohesive cybersecurity team, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members.
- Overseeing incident response activities to minimize the impact of security breaches or incidents, including coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Managing day-to-day security operations, such as monitoring systems for security breaches, investigating anomalies, and ensuring timely response to security incidents.
- Creating and maintaining cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks effectively.
- Identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and mitigating vulnerabilities in systems and networks.
- Collaborating with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure the security of outsourced systems, services, and products.
- Transacting business at various Bank Management Committees.
Education and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related area.
- Master’s Degree in an IT related area (Desirable)
- Professional Qualification (Minimum): ITIL, CISSP/CEH/CISM.
Required Experience and Competences:
- Five (5) years experience in managing design, development and delivery cybersecurity assurance in a large financial institution or a reputable organization of which 3 years must have been at leadership position
