Job Description
To deliver real value to Stanbic Bank Uganda brand by developing and implementing the Offline and Online Communications Strategies, Public and Stakeholder Relations, Digital and Content Marketing Plans and Proactive Reputation Building in order to build long-term equity brand and to deliver on the business strategic aspirations and objectives.

The role requires an individual with a good understanding of the entire Brand and Marketing value chain with specific focus on Communications that includes Marketing & Communications strategies, Offline and Online Communications, Public and Stakeholder Relations, Digital and Content Marketing Plans and usability best practices. Demonstrated experience in translating business requirements into clear Marketing & Communications strategies, integrated campaigns and deliverables.
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive and manage the Country Marketing and Communication tactical strategy is aligned to the overall Country and Standard Bank Brand strategy whilst delivering overall responsibility for maintaining the in-country brand expression and reputation.
- Collaborate across respective Business Units(CIB & BCB) and Lines to regularly review and ensure alignment of each business’ Marketing &Communications plans within an agreed framework.
- Drive and oversee the provision of insights around the competitive positioning of the brand in country and develop action plans to differentiate offerings through marketing communication in (customer) segments.
- Drive the development of the overall marketing, communication, public relations and events portfolio strategy for the relevant Marketing & Communication Business Line and ensure this encompasses the strategies and plans for each of the jurisdictions in the business unit.
- Engage with Business to develop a strategy to effectively find new ways to develop and enter new markets, as well as to enhance the ways of working going forward to ensure that Stanbic, as a business, remains competitive in the market and in the future.
