We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Maintenance Manager – Mechanical
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Job type: Full-time
Purpose
- Manage the effective maintenance of all the machines in the mills to ensure that they are performing efficiently and effectively.
The Job

- Plan and organize preventive maintenance of the relevant machines to ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
- Work on machine pro-plant generated by the pro-plan system.
- Ensure reduction of downtime to the barest minimum to prevent loss due to machine downtime.
- Plan and order spare parts and tools for maintenance work to avoid delays due to material availability.
- Document maintenance records for analysis and future reference.
- Technical training and development of technical subordinates to improve performance.
- Control usage of materials and tools for optimal efficiency of machines.
- Vet and recommend contract awards for 3rd party maintenance services to ensure compliance with specifications.
Qualification
- B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of cognate experience in a a similar role.
The person must:
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Pay keen attention to details and be highly organized.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Have excellent asset management and risk management skills and best practices on the shop floor.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
