The key purpose of this role is to co-ordinate, train, coach and control the activities in E&F section, both in the production environment and maintenance, to provide specialist technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability through the use of VPO means, without compromising safety.
Key Outputs and Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment:
- Development and periodic review of risk assessments (HIRA, PHA, JHA)
- Complying to safety requirement on operation of equipment (SOPs, SWI signed off)
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
Ensures a reliable plant is achieved through the Maintenance, calibration, repair of equipment and optimisation of plant and associated devices:
- Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation / systems
- Plan and prepare the job
- Development of Maintence Programs for new equipment, review of maintenance programs for the existing equipment
- Carry out repairs / maintenance
- Continuously improve (optimise) plant, process equipment and systems
- Operate plant and process equipment
- Calibrate instruments

Minimum Requirements:
- Trade tested Millwright or Mechanical N6
- 3 – 5 years production engineering training in a FMCG environment
- 2 – 3 Years mechanical/electrical experience with in-depth workshop knowledge. Planning experience is also required
- Diploma in Engineering(Mechanical/Millwright) or equivalent and trade 3 to 5 years production Engineering experience with 3 years in supervisory level Knowledge of Brewing and Packaging plant will be an advantage. The candidate also needs to be proficient in Microsoft office applications
