Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Litigation Associate. The role requires a versatile legal professional capable of handling diverse litigation matters, including tax law, constitutional law, and other areas of practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting legal research and drafting motions, pleadings, and submissions.
- Representing clients in court on a day-to-day basis.
- Preparing for and conducting hearings.
- Advising clients on a wide range of legal matters, including tax law, constitutional law, and dispute resolution.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop case strategies and innovative legal solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for a driven and talented professional who meets the following qualifications:
- Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current practicing certificate.
- At least two years of experience in litigation, with a preference for those with exposure to tax law, constitutional law, or other specialized areas.
- Strong skills in legal research, drafting motions, and court representation.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare for and conduct depositions effectively.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
