Job Summary
- We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lecturer I in English to join our faculty.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English language and literature courses, conducting research, and contributing to the academic community.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English language and literature courses.
- Develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, and assessments.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly works.
- Supervise student research projects and dissertations.
- Participate in departmental and Institution activities.
Requirements
Successful Candidates must have
- Master’s degree in English or related field.
- Teaching experience at the tertiary level.
- Strong research and publication record.
- Professional certification from Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
- Membership with Nigerian Society of Teachers (NST).
Possession of Qualifications such as
- Ph.D. in English or related field is an added advantage
- Experience with curriculum development and accreditation.
- Familiarity with online teaching and learning platforms.
