Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-orientedLearning and Development Operations Specialist to support the smooth operation of our department. This role is pivotal in managing the learners’ community, driving engagement, coordinating onboarding, and handling technical and logistical aspects of our training programs. This position is based at Ladipo Labinjo, Surulere, Lagos.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Management
- Manage the learners’ community forum, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Create and curate engaging content to drive discussions and community interaction.
- Monitor forum activities, responding to inquiries, and escalating issues when necessary.
2. Onboarding & Learner Support
- Oversee the onboarding process for new learners, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.
- Organize and distribute onboarding materials to ensure a seamless start for all learners.
- Serve as the primary contact between learners and the engineering team, coordinating the resolution of technical challenges.
3. LMS Administration
- Act as the LMS admin, managing user accounts, course enrollments, and platform configurations.
- Test new courses and features on the LMS platform before deployment to ensure a high-quality learner experience.
4. Training Logistics & Coordination
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, webinars, and workshops, including scheduling speakers, arranging materials, and setting up virtual or physical venues.
- Ensure all required resources, such as handouts and training aids, are prepared and distributed.
5. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with the learning and development team to ensure course content meets quality standards.
- Provide feedback on course design and functionality to improve the learner experience.
- Analyse learner feedback and data to identify areas for improvement in training programs.
6. General Operations
- Maintain and update operational processes to ensure efficiency in training delivery.
- Assist in creating reports to track learner engagement and program effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in learning technologies and make recommendations for enhancements.
Qualifications & Skills
- A degree from a Federal Nigerian University.
- A minimum of consistent 12 months work experience.
- Proficiency in using computers for various tasks, including navigating software applications, managing files, and utilizing online platforms for communication and collaboration.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with learners and stakeholders effectively.
