Our client Oracle Language Centre is an institution based in Nairobi, Kenya, offering local and foreign language lessons. They are looking for a dedicated and skilled LANGUAGE CENTRE ASSISTANT. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting both the centre manager and language instructors in delivering high-quality language education services to our students.
Key Responsibilities: –
- Customer Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries regarding language programs and services.
- Administrative Support: Manage student registrations, records, and documentation while ensuring accurate maintenance of administrative systems.
- Classroom Support: Assist language instructors with teaching materials and provide additional learning support to students.
- Resource Management: Oversee the organization and maintenance of all educational resources and teaching materials.
- Events and Activities: Coordinate and support language-related events, workshops, and community outreach programs.
- General Duties: Support the centre manager in daily operations while maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor of Education (B, Ed) Degree in Language & Literature
- Valid teacher registration or in process of registration
- Proficiency in two or more languages. Those with additional language courses (local/foreign) will be have an added advantage
- Excellent organization, communication, and active listening skills.
- A passion for language and lifelong learning.
- Be result oriented and of high integrity
- Must uphold high professionalism and character
- Ability to use technology in delivering the content
