Job Title: Laboratory Analyst

Job Summary:
We’re seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team! As a Laboratory Analyst, you’ll be responsible for testing laboratory samples, maintaining quality management systems, ensuring compliance with international standards, and developing SOPs. You’ll also monitor environmental conditions, prepare reagents and reference standards, and ensure equipment calibration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory tests according to approved standard methods
- Maintain quality management systems and ensure implementation
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards
- Monitor housekeeping programs and environmental conditions
- Develop SOPs and work instructions
- Prepare reagents, chemicals, and reference standards
- Maintain equipment calibration and verification schedules
- Ensure safety policies compliance and good laboratory practices
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality
Requirements:
- Candidates must be a graduate of either Biochemistry, Industrial chemistry, or Pure chemistry.
- Candidates must have a minimum grade of 2: 1
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 – 4 years of cognate work experience as a Laboratory Analyst.
