KITCHEN SUPERVISOR

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team and ensure smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily kitchen activities, assign tasks, and prepare duty rosters.
  • Conduct team briefings and ensure staff grooming standards (hairnets, chef coats, uniforms).
  • Coordinate online order pickups (e.g., Glovo app) and ensure smooth kitchen-service collaboration.
  • Ensure food quality, portion control, and efficient preparation aligned with hotel standards.
  • Ensure proper food cutting techniques and maintain consistency.
  • Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, ensuring proper arrangement of supplies and stock.
  • Track food usage to minimize waste and place orders as needed.
  • Ensure daily and general kitchen cleaning tasks are completed and meet hygiene regulations.
  • Conduct regular cleanliness inspections and ensure proper disposal practices.
  • Work on menu updates, suggest new recipes, and coordinate special events.
  • Ensure timely preparation, quality presentation, and on-time service for conferences and events.
  • Monitor kitchen expenses and prepare budget reports to optimize resources.
  • Train kitchen staff on food preparation, safety, and kitchen procedures.
  • Provide continuous training to improve staff skills and performance.
  • Liaise with front-of-house staff to communicate guest needs and ensure seamless coordination.
  • Report any kitchen issues or updates to management.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and oversee necessary repairs.
  • Address kitchen issues as they arise and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
