IT OFFICER

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

(STARTING DATE: IMMEDIATELY)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT support to staff and troubleshoot hardware,
  • software, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including computers, printers, and network devices
  • Manage data backups and ensure data integrity and security
  • Support the IT team in maintaining system security protocols and monitoring network performance
  • Implement software updates, patches, and virus protection as needed
  • Document and maintain inventory of IT assets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science
    Two years of experience in IT
  • Deep knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
  • Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft
  • Certified: Azure Fundamentals).
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
