Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst Intern with a strong passion for investments, financial analysis, and capital raising. This role is ideal for individuals who want hands-on exposure to the investment landscape, including deal origination, financial modeling, and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence for potential investments.
- Assist in deal origination, pipeline development, and investor engagement.
- Support in the preparation of investment memos, pitch decks, and presentations.
- Research industry trends, market dynamics, and potential investment opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements and business models to assess viability and risks.
- Engage with investors, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate capital raising initiatives.
- Support transaction execution, including structuring deals and preparing term sheets.
- Assist in maintaining investor databases and tracking fundraising activities.
- Provide insights on portfolio companies and support post-investment monitoring.
Qualifications & Skills
- CFA Level 1 and above (or other relevant financial certifications).
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Investment Management, or related fields.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, comparable company analysis, etc.).
- Understanding of private equity, venture capital, and debt financing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of deal origination, pipeline management, and investor relations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and collaborate within a team.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
