Centum Capital Partners (CCAP) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Centum Investment Company Plc, with responsibility for managing Centum’s existing private equity portfolio. Centum Capital seeks to recruit an Investment Analyst whose role will be to support the Centum Capital team in achieving investment and portfolio management objectives.
The role requires thorough understanding and execution of Centum Capital’s operations, systems, and investment processes. Key responsibilities include conducting detailed research, developing financial models, participating in due diligence, and ensuring seamless workflow management
Key Accountabilities:
1. Portfolio Management
- Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, ensuring they meet growth targets and operational goals.
- Track key performance indicators and prepare regular performance reports.
- Contribute to the effective management of the existing asset portfolio.
2. Research
- Assist in research to support the development of investment strategies and transaction opportunities.
- Analyzing financial and strategic company data.
- Present research insights to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable outputs.
3. Commercial Activities
- Develop financial models to assess project viability and key value-add opportunities.
- Prepare internal documentation such as investment screens, preliminary investment appraisals, and committee papers.
- Conduct due diligence and coordinate related stakeholders.
- Actively participate in making investment decisions and managing portfolio companies.
4. Record Keeping and Workflow Management
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, Actuarial Science or related fields.
- CFA Level I Qualification.
- Demonstrated expertise in investment functions, including building financial models and conducting analyses.
- Track record of recommending and making effective investment decisions.
- Familiarity with private equity best practices and IPEV guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in IT, including advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
- Independent decision-making and problem-solving ability.
- Effective team collaboration and mentorship.
