Inventory Clerk

Salary Range: Ksh 30,000 to Ksh. 40,000
Purpose:
The purpose of this job is to keep track of the raw materials, packing materials and finished goods in the warehouse
Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily inventory reconciliation to ensure physical stock (raw Materials, packing materials and finished goods) matches 100% with the SAP system.
- Physical stock taking for raw materials, finished goods, packing materials
- Maintain proper, accurate records and prepare necessary inventory reports
- Receiving shipments and inspecting the products to ensure they meet set quality standards.
- Issuing and dispatching finished goods as per the delivery note
- Issuing raw materials to production floor based on inventory transfer request from SAP system.
- Ensuring proper storage of goods and proper implementation of (First In First Out) FIFO
- Maintaining an orderly and well-defined store layout and location systems.
- Any other duties assigned by management
Qualification and Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Stores/ Warehouse Management or Supply Chain management from a recognized institution
- Experience in any ERP software and advanced excel skills
- Work experience of at least 1 year in a warehouse in FMCG sector
- Good knowledge of Inventory and warehousing procedures
