APPLICATION FOR INTERNSHIP IN THE INSURANCE CONSORTIUM FOR OIL AND GAS UGANDA

Insurance Consortium for Oil and Gas Uganda (ICOGU) which operates under the Uganda Insurers Association (UIA) is thrilled to announce an exciting internship opportunity tailored just for you.
Uganda Insurers Association is the umbrella body for all Licenced insurance & Reinsurance companies which aims at promoting best practices and the highest standards within the Ugandan insurance sector safeguarding the consumers’ best interests.
The Insurance Consortium for Oil and Gas Uganda (ICOGU) is a body comprising local licensed Non-Life Insurance Companies that are providing insurance cover to the Oil & Gas sector under a co-insurance arrangement.
As part of our commitment to fostering talent and nurturing future leaders, we are offering internship positions to three motivated and ambitious students from the Tilenga area districts of; Bullisa, Nwoya, Pakwach, Hoima, Kikube and Masindi.
- The students must apply from within the mentioned area districts.
- Should either be a university or technical college student in the final year.
- A graduate from an established university but originating from the area districts.
The selected students will be attached to the following companies namely UAP Old Mutual, Uganda Insurers Association and Uganda Reinsurance Company.
The internship will take a period of one 1) month and will be fully facilitated by the Insurance Consortium for Oil and Gas Uganda (ICOGU).
Requirements:
- A National Identification Card showing the district.
- An LC1 letter from the village.
- Recommendation letter from the Chief Administration Officer of the district.
- Cover Letter outlining your interest in the insurance industry and why you are the ideal candidate for this internship.
