Job Description:
We are seeking talented and experienced Interior Design Consultants to join our team. As
part of Grandora Homes, you will work on exclusive projects that demand creativity,
innovation, and a deep understanding of contemporary design trends.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and lifestyle
requirements.
2. Develop detailed design concepts, including mood boards, color schemes, material
selections, and layout plans.
3. Present design proposals to clients and make adjustments based on feedback.
4. Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and
adherence to budget.
5. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other professionals to source materials
and oversee the implementation of designs.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and best practices in interior design.
7. Provide guidance on the selection of home appliances and outdoor landscaping
features that complement the overall design.
8. Ensure all designs meet local regulations and safety standards.
Candidate Requirements:
Education: A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from a
recognized institution.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in interior design, preferably
with a portfolio of residential and commercial projects.
Skills:
● Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities.
● Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or any other relevant
software.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills.
● Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Knowledge of Kenyan building codes, regulations, and local design trends.
Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects is
required.
Language: Fluency in English and Kiswahili is required.
