Kilimani Children’s Clinic is seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy Information Technology (IT) Officer to join our dedicated team. As an IT Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our technology infrastructure is efficient, secure, and up-to-date, supporting the clinic’s mission to provide exceptional healthcare services to children.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Networking: Set up, manage, and troubleshoot clinic network systems, ensuring smooth and secure connectivity.
- Website Development and Maintenance: Develop, update, and maintain the clinic’s website, ensuring it remains user-friendly, informative, and up-to-date.
- Social Media Management: Manage the clinic’s social media platforms, enhancing online presence and engaging with our community.
- Telecommunication Technology: Support telecommunication systems, including phone systems and VoIP services, ensuring seamless communication within and outside the clinic.
- CCTV Installation and Management: Install, monitor, and manage the clinic’s CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Knowledge: Apply AI tools and technologies to enhance clinic operations, including automation and data management.
- Video Editing and Graphic Design: Create, edit, and design engaging video content and graphics for the clinic’s digital platforms, including social media and the website.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT systems, networking, and website development.
- Expertise in social media management, telecommunication technology, and CCTV management.
- Basic working knowledge of AI technologies and their practical applications.
- Proficiency in video editing (e.g., using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar) and graphic design (e.g., using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in a simple, user-friendly manner.
