Job Title: HR Officer
Location: Dar es salaam

Job Summary:
The HR Officer is responsible for supporting the HR department in various administrative and strategic functions. This role involves contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Selection:
– Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating assessment activities.
– Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and schools for talent acquisition.

2. Employee Onboarding:
– Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive integration into the company culture.
– Prepare and manage orientation programs and necessary documentation for new employees.

3. Employee Relations:
– Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
– Support employee engagement initiatives and resolve employee conflicts as necessary.

4. Performance Management:
– Assist in the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee feedback.
– Monitor and track employee performance and provide guidance to managers.

5. Training and Development:
– Support the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
– Maintain training records and assess training needs.

6. HR Administration:
– Maintain employee records, including personal details, attendance, and leave management.
– Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

7. Policy Development:
– Assist in the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
– Ensure policies are communicated effectively across the organization.

8. Reporting and Analytics:
– Prepare and analyze HR reports related to recruitment, turnover, employee satisfaction, etc.
– Use data to support HR strategy and decision-making.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
– 2-4 years of experience in HR or a related role.
– Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Excellent organizational and time management skills.
– Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
