
Job Title: HR Manager
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Salary Range: ₦800,000 – ₦1,000,000 monthly
Experience Level: Minimum of 5 years working with a SaaS-based company
Key Responsibilities
As an HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving employee satisfaction, improving HR processes, and ensuring talent alignment to business goals. Your responsibilities include:
Employee Engagement and Retention
- Design and execute initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Develop retention strategies to minimize attrition and foster a positive work environment.
- Implement feedback systems and action plans to address employee concerns effectively.
Process Improvement
- Assess, develop, and optimize HR processes to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
- Leverage data and HR analytics to continuously refine policies and procedures.
Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of over 30 employees across different HR functions.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to direct reports.
Employee Complaints and Relationships Management
- Create and implement clear processes for addressing employee complaints.
- Act as a mediator to improve supervisor-employee relationships and resolve conflicts.
- Design and maintain whistleblowing channels, ensuring confidentiality and responsiveness.
Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential candidates for current and future roles.
- Collaborate with team leads to identify potential vacancies and workforce needs.
- Proactively go to market to source and recruit top talent aligned with the company’s growth strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in HR, with a focus on SaaS-based companies.
- Proven track record of managing teams of 30 or more people.
- Expertise in employee engagement, retention strategies, and process improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices in Nigeria.
