Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Human Resource (HR) Intern to support our HR team during the busy year-end and new year period. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical HR experience, especially in handling administrative and compliance tasks related to the closing and opening of the business year. The HR intern will provide vital assistance in areas such as documentation, employee records, HR reporting, and payroll processing but will not be involved in recruitment or coaching functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with year-end HR activities, including updating employee records, managing year-end reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Help organize and prepare HR documentation, such as contracts, policy updates, and benefits information for the new year.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of year-end performance evaluations and assist in the coordination of annual reviews.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on updating and maintaining employee records in HR systems for the new year.
  • Help coordinate the rollout of new year employee communications, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with data reconciliation to ensure accuracy across employee records, benefits enrollments, and payroll changes.
  • Participate in the organization of company-wide events, such as annual meetings, employee recognition programs, and year-end parties.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, and responding to employee inquiries related to year-end activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in learning HR operations, particularly administrative tasks, data management, and compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team setting.
  • Effective communication skills to support coordination and reporting.
  • Experience in HR or office administration is an advantage but not required.
