HR ASSISTANT

The Human Resource Assistant will support the effective and efficient operations of the organization’s Human Resource department.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource.
  • Experience: At least 3 years experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS Systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-orriented and accuracy.
  • Problem-solving skills with good judgment.
  • Understanding of HR principles, best practices and employment laws.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Competencies

  • Handle employee documentation, maintain records, ensure confidentiality and perform administrative tasks.
  • Assist in scheduling interviews and co-ordinating onboarding activities, including orientation and document filing.
  • Prepare reports such as probation, leave and new hires.
  • Communicate contracts and probation periods promptly and draft and share contracts with employees.
  • Attend meeting, take minutes, manage disciplinary documentation, support policy training and address employee questions on policies and benefits.
  • Provide and verify data, offer secretarial support, ensure confidentiality, uphold servie standards, handle payroll queries, and perform other assigned duties.
  • Conduct employee training and maintain staff training calender.
