Job Title: HQ Senior Electrician, M / F

Location: Amadi Base, Port Harcourt – Rivers
Contract type: Permanent Contract
Mission
- Maintain the technical availability of the electrical components of the SURFER fleet and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, including dry dock activities to achieve this goal.
Responsibilities
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical components from the SURFER vessels
- Conduct a full condition survey of all the electrical components from the vessel during the dry dock and stop over period (planned maintenance)
- Create purchase requests to maintain stock at a correct level taking into consideration the different delivery times
- Carry out inventory and monthly update the list to send to his line management
- Contribute to develop the team spirit and their knowledge, promote the HSE rules
- Prepare the scope of work, detailed planning with workforce and spare parts requirements
- Manage the revision of electrical components to ensure profitability
- Monitor and report monthly the consumption of electrical components.
Qualifications, Skills and Experiences
Qualifications:
- B.Sc / HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
Experience:
- 8 years electrical engineering experience in the Marine industry
Candidate criteria:
- Minimum level of education required: 3 – Bachelor’s degree (3 years)
- Minimum level of experience required: 6-10 years
- Languages: English (4 – Professional ++++)
