Hotel Human Resource Officer

Sokoni Africa Limited is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Hotel Human Resource Officer to join our team. As the Hotel Human Resource Officer, you will be responsible for managing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development. Your role will be vital in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with HR policies and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding new hires
  • Support employee development through training programs and performance evaluation processes
  • Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to both staff and management
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Maintain personnel records and HR databases
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to improve retention rates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in an HR role, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
