Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Head Waiter to lead our front-of-house team. As a Head waiter, you will ensure that our guests receive an outstanding dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the dining room and ensure smooth service.
- Train, mentor, and supervise waitstaff to provide exceptional service.
- Greet and welcome guests, managing seating arrangements efficiently.
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings.
- Take and process customer orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food service.
- Monitor dining room activity and ensure all guests are satisfied throughout their meal.
- Assist in the development of menu items and service procedures.
- Manage reservations and ensure proper table assignments.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairings.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
