Head Waiter

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Head Waiter to lead our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a strong understanding of fine dining standards. As a Head waiter, you will ensure that our guests receive an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the dining room and ensure smooth service.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise waitstaff to provide exceptional service.
  • Greet and welcome guests, managing seating arrangements efficiently.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings.
  • Take and process customer orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food service.
  • Monitor dining room activity and ensure all guests are satisfied throughout their meal.
  • Assist in the development of menu items and service procedures.
  • Manage reservations and ensure proper table assignments.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairings.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
