Job: Head, Trade Marketing and out of home (OOH).

Function: Marketing.

Reporting to: Marketing Director.

Job Purpose:

The role drives all trade marketing activities and trade marketing execution for Mass, enterprise, HBB and Airtel Money to drive revenue and market share capture.

Key Result Areas

  • Drive increased market expansion and penetration by creating a roadmap and strategy for customer acquisition, in line with the overall business and marketing strategy.
  • Contribute towards the improvement of brand impact and positioning to ensure consumer engagement and uniform brand experience across consumer touch points.
  • Develop, implement, and track picture of success (POS) on all customer interaction points.
  • Develop and enhance customer engagement.
  • Developing, Managing and Nurturing PARTNERS – Locally in conjunction with the Devices Manager.
  • Track execution to ensure compliance with the picture of success and with internal company procedures.
  • Ensuring all executions are done according to the set guidelines and process of the organization and ensure the organization gets the best value for money.
  • Create clarity on plans and products to ensure consumer’s understanding of products and services.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • Post-graduate qualification (e.g. CIM), an MBA would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing/ trade or sales position, with a focus on sales, outlet management, trade marketing or other related sales and marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leading a field execution team of not less than 3 years.
  • Excellent Data analysis and Excel skills.
  • Experience of the Telecommunications Industry or FMCG marketing environment.

·         Able to operate in a performance driven organization.
