Job Title: Head of Sales – On Premise

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

  • We’re seeking an experienced Head of Sales – On Premise to lead our sales initiatives nationwide, drive sales growth, develop high-performing teams, and ensure optimal execution across retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of tactical sales initiatives across all retail environments within the On-Premise channel.
  • Design and implement weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales plans, ensuring on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery by the sales team.
  • Support the execution of channel marketing and brand campaign activations, leveraging these initiatives to achieve channel objectives.
  • Provide coaching and support to the field sales team, focusing on continuous capability development at both individual and team levels.
  • Take full ownership of Chivita | Hollandia’s business operations, assets, and personnel within the On-Premise channel, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the RTM, capability, and field sales teams to enhance distributor operations and embed Chivita | Hollandia’s Distributor Operating Standards.
  • Drive adherence to and activation of EDGE standards across all retail environments within the On-Premise channel nationwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • A minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in sales, with a strong background in field sales management.
  • Strong expertise in Route-to-Market (RTM) strategy, distributor operations, trade execution, and in-outlet activation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Experience in Trade/Customer Marketing or Brand Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in setting sales targets, forecasting, and managing both distributors and field sales teams to consistently deliver results.
